 Summer House on Romar Beach is a popular beachfront condominium resort located in Orange Beach, Alabama. It offers direct Gulf-front views, spacious accommodations including full kitchens with 3 bedroom /2 bathrooms, and resort-style amenities, making it a top choice for vacationers seeking a relaxing coastal getaway.  Summer House is close to Gulf Shores, Alabama and Pensacola, Florida.

 The condos at Summer House on Romar Beach in Orange Beach, Alabama, are individually owned. Each unit is privately owned by individuals or investment groups, and many are rented out as vacation rentals and self managed, or through  local property management companies, or platforms like VRBO and Airbnb.

Unless otherwise specified, all common areas of the property are available for use with your stay. 

Guest Registration Certificates  (GRCs) are required for each vehicle who comes on property for Security.   Your property manager will advise if they are distributed to you or if you get them onsite.

You are required to display them in your front dash for the entire duration of your stay.

Even if you are in our overflow parking area a GRC is required to be displayed.

Parking is covered with your GRC.  

Our HOA has set a minimum stay of 3 nights.  There is not a maximum stay. Contact your individual owner for more information.

Our HOA has strict policy that only owners may have dogs on property and they must display a yellow leash showing the dog is registered with the HOA office.

The owners participating with us are listed as featured condos on our front page or listed on our All Properties page.  Not all owners are participating with us at this time, but this is new and we expect more participation in the future. Message us if there is a property not listed.  We will do what we can to connect you.  Note: Some owners work exclusively through their property management company.

The condos are all about the same size.  3 bedroom/ 2 bathroom. 1268 square feet.  Some are technically larger and some are technically a little smaller.  Overall hardly noticeable. 

The primary has an ensuite (access to the bathroom from inside of the bedroom door) the second full bathroom is convenient to the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. 

All of the condos have a full stunningly beautiful views of the Gulf from the spacious balcony or patio.

Equipped with Category 5 Hurricane doors and windows means you do not get disturbed from outside noises easily.  Many of us have patio furniture for you to enjoy the fresh Gulf air to enjoy a morning coffee or an afternoon beverage of your desire.  Many naps have been taken on these balconies and patios. 

While each condo has approximately the same space, how each of us uses it is quite different.

From design style, color schemes, and decoration types, each showing a unique flair. 

Some condos  only have showers (no tubs), some have 1 shower and 1 tub, and some have 2 tubs. What is the most different with each condo is the bed layout.  Most of the primary bedrooms are a king bed.  The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are different for each condo, where some have anything from 1 king to 4 bunkbeds and any combination of queens and twins and in between.  Make sure to review photos to see the layout that will work best for your situation. 

Furniture in the living room and dining area varies as well.  Some condos have sofa sleepers and some do not.  Some have counter seating off the kitchen counter and some have bar height seating.

Kitchen equipment is different for each as well, though most of us have plenty of appliances , cookware, and serving ware for most every need.   

Each condo has a large balcony, the ground floor condos have patios without railings.

Just want to mention that chairs at the pool area are free and first come first served, along with the Gazebo area.

Chairs at the beach along with umbrellas are operated by a Beach Chair Service and all you need to do is to sit in the chair and the attendant will come to confirm your Chair Service for the day or multiple days if desired. Additionally, the Beach Service also has other services they can arrange for you as well. 

We have the beachfront!  Okay we have other things too!  A beautiful double layer outdoor pool, an indoor pool and  whirlpool.  A dry sauna and exercise room with men's and women's showers.  

Across the street, where we have overflow parking and a meeting room, we also have tennis courts, basic pickleball courts, basketball hoop, handball court, putting green and more. 

And in excellent proximity to many other activities in the area.

• The Wharf -The large Ferris Wheel, mini-golf, laser tag, 60 boutique style stores and many delicious restaurants to choose from with an evening light show. The large marina is one of the locations to access fishing trips and dolphin tours.
• Gulf State Park-a 900 acre freshwater lake with bicycling, walking, swimming and boating. Miles of paths.  Adventure and exploration for all ages.  The park encompasses both sides of  Perdido Beach Blvd with a large pier and beach area on the Gulf of America/Mexico side.
• Adventure Island-Arcade , bumper boats, go-karts, glow and regular mini-golf
• Indian & Sea Museum - small museum of local history
• National Naval Aviation Museum - 150 aircraft and over 4,000 artifacts, must bring ID

• Ft. Morgan National Historic Landmark -  A military site and National Historic Landmark is located 22 miles west of Gulf Shores. 
• Mobile Bay Ferry - See the bay with this 40 minute ferry from Ft. Morgan and Dauphin Island ( Ft. Gaines, an 1800s brick fort used in the Civil War)
